"Ice holes" (30 min - one way):
Ideal not only for children, but also for moutainbikers. The difference in altitude is only 100m. In summer the air cools down to 15-18 C° thanks to the natural tube system in the porphyry rocks. In the holes you can see icicles as well in summer. Here at 600m of altidude you will find the flora and fauna of 2000m (alpine roses.....)
Gleif chapel (20 min - one way):
You can start as well in St. Michael taking the crossroad. The Gleif is a baroque chapel above St. Michael lain on a glacier polished porphyry rock. Gleif comes from the latin word "clivus" which means sunny hill. Earlier the whole area was called Gleif, but nowadays only the porphyry rock is so called.

A verry easy promenade, you can go as well with the buggy or by bike. You walk through the wood enjoying the panorama (orchards, vineyards, Bozen, St. Pauls,...) At the arrival you will find a nice meadow with big polished rocks which are ideal for children to climb. Near the meadow you can sit down and enjoy a drink in the Hostel Kreuzstein.

Easy, comfortable hiking tour as well for elderly people.
Able for mountainbikers.
You can enjoy the colorful mixed forest...

This hiking tour is a must for every Steinegger guest. You take the altitudal way of Eppan, from where you can enjoy the wonderful panorama of ,the UNESCO world natural heritage, the Dolomites.
Difficulty: easy-middle
Able for extrem mountainbiking
At the inn "Buchwald" you can drink and eat local typical dishes on the panorama-terasse and admire the wonderful mountains of the Dolomites.

An adventurous tour for jung and elderly. You have to cross some valleys if you would like to see all castles. At first you will see castle Freudenstein, then Castle St. Valentin, after that the ruin Boymont, the next castle is Hocheppen and to finish you can admire the Castle-Hotel Korb.

Just for experts. The difference in altitude is 1250 m. The advancement is in the Furglau-canyon and the descend is through one of the two jags.
The greatest panorama. You can see the Dolomites (UNESCO world natural heritage) the moutains from the Texel-group, the Etsch valley, Überetsch and as well Meran.

The first documents are from the 13th century. It has been renovated and arranged mediaval. The guided tour is about one hour and very interesting. The children love it. You can admire mediaval chitchen, living room and the toilets.....
