You are travelling by …

The best route is via the Brenner motorway A22, taking the Bolzano South exit. From there, continue along the expressway towards Merano until you reach the Eppan exit. Turn off towards St. Michael/Eppan and follow the signs for “Appiano Monte”. From here, the more scenic part begins: a few gentle bends, vineyards on both sides, a stretch through the forest — and you’re almost there. After about 2.5 kilometres, you’ll have reached your destination.

The easiest way is to travel by train to Bolzano. From there, buses run every 15 minutes directly to Appiano. Get off at St. Michael/Appiano station — from there, you’re already quite close. Then continue by city bus, which takes you directly up to Steinegger. It may not run every minute, but frequently enough for a relaxed arrival. And if the timing doesn’t quite work: just let us know in advance — we’ll gladly see if we can pick you up.

Bolzano Airport is regularly served by flights from Germany and Italy. For many guests, this is the easiest and fastest way to reach South Tyrol. If you let us know in advance, we’ll be happy to pick you up from the airport.
