Warmth, calm and time to feel good

When you come back from a hike, your legs a little tired and your mind in need of a break, this is exactly where you want to be. Our small but refined wellness area is not a spa palace, but a small wellness hotel in Appiano: warm, cosy and full of Steinegger character — with views of nature and plenty of peace all around.

Your sauna in Appiano

Two classics — and one new addition we’re particularly proud of — await you in our sauna area.

Swiss pine sauna & infrared cabin

The Swiss pine sauna (approx. 80–90°C) warms you right through after a day out, while the infrared cabin gently relaxes and loosens tension.
Ideal for tight muscles, tired hiking legs and anyone who enjoys warmth.
A sauna just as you would expect in a down-to-earth wellness hotel near Bolzano — only with more heart and without unnecessary frills.

New: the barrel sauna in the garden

Our new barrel sauna is a place to switch off.
You sit inside the large wooden barrel, the heat pleasantly intense — and through the window, the wide expanse of the Bolzano valley basin opens up before you
Simply sit, breathe and feel how your body warms and your mind becomes lighter.
After your sauna session, the panorama relaxation room awaits: soft music, plenty of light and a tea corner with homemade apple juice, spring water from the Furglau gorge and small treats
